Now I got it!

We're always the last to hear the news on upcoming movies. It's because we don't watch television nor venture out into the world much. So, when we encountered owls all over the place suddenly, it struck us as just mere happy coincidences.

But now we know better! Stringing magazine's owl necklace spread, ty's new set of four beanie baby owls, Webkinz's feature animal of September an owl... must be a new movie!

Legend of the Guardians of Ga'Hoole

I don't know if I'd run right out to see this film. But I do know that it's been making me happy with all the owl-themed stuff it's been inspiring, that's for sure!

Can't say as my hubby and I are big movie fans either so wasn't aware that Hollywood had created another "Craze".

Owls have, more or less, always been popular with sayings such as; "Wise old owl", and A.A. Milne's ever popular book Winnie-the-Pooh had the wise old owl that Pooh Bear always went to for advice and then there were often wise old owls in Walt Disney films and even Harry Potter had a magnificent Snowy Owl (absolutely gorgeous creature). I think owls will always hold a special place of interest.

You're right, Almost Precious. I think that's good because we love them! :D While we liked them before this popular craze, it will be nice to see more around because of it.
