Connecticut

No bead table Wednesday post for me this week; we'll be on the road all day. :( I'm actually sad to be leaving Connecticut behind. Everything is blooming here, everything is green. They're at least a week or two ahead of western NY, where it snowed as recently as mid-April. Yuck!

I want to share some pictures and memories from CT as we head back home.

As I said, everything is blooming.

It did rain several days while we were here. On one of the clear days, though,
my fiancé's family took me to a local park with a beautiful waterfall,
where I got to practice with my camera.
(I still don't know all of the settings!)

There are a surprising number of creatures that live around these semi-urban places.
I was captivated by all the different kinds of birds there are.

My fiancé's family has a little creek down in their backyard, and I was startled one afternoon by a fuzzy creature staring me straight in the eye! He lingered long enough for me to get a picture.

I had a great time with Patty on our beady playdate, and am looking forward to our next visit to this lovely New England state. Hopefully it will be sooner than later! Though, one never does know.

Be well! <3

Love the bleeding hearts! It would be nice to have a stream in my backyard. So many critters to see there! Cute racoon!

Beautiful photos! The weather is becoming fabulous! I have been noticing a lot of cardinals lately. The park looks like a perfect place to spend an afternoon. ~Val
