This time brass chains were used to augment the texture. This technique has become very popular in the magazines and how-to books I've been looking at and it's something I've been wanting to try. Some jasper beads from the Dream Beads store in Watertown, NY, were perfect with their crackled features and autumny colors, so three of those got worked into the design as well.
The darkness of the antiqued brass lends a nice feel to it, and the entwining chains are almost like vines or tree roots. I love designing pieces I would like to wear. :)
